About Reserves

Instructors may request that books, articles, DVDS or other items be placed on Reserve for a course to ensure all students in a class have access to a required text.

  • These items are held in the Reserve section in the staff area.
  • Items can be requested and checked out at the Help Desk on the main floor (3rd floor) of the library.
  • The items are restricted to use in the library with a 3 hour loan period.

The Library tries to maintain at least one copy of every required course textbook. 
Books can be in print or electronic form or both (when available.)
