Uploading a Video File

The Kaltura Video platform supports a wide range of formats and codecs, including .mov and .mp4.

Step 1:

Select Kaltura MyMedia from the top menu.

Step 2:

Select Media Upload.

Step 3:

Either drag and drop an MP4 video file into the video uploader or select Choose a File to Upload button.

Step 4:

The file will start to upload, and you will see a progress bar.

Step 5:

Enter a unique name and description for the video.
Note. You will be able to search for the video using the name.

Step 6

Set the Publishing Status, then click Save, Go To Media, or MyMedia.

Note: Publishing a video will allow other instructors to view and use your media.

Step 7

The video will now be listed in your MyMedia Menu.
