Kaltura Help Guide

This is a comprehensive Guide to the Kaltura Video Platform. It includes instructions for: (1) creating and uploading videos, (2) creating interactivity in Kaltura Videos, and (3) adding Kaltura videos to Moodle.

Creating a Video Quiz

  • Use Kaltura to embed multiple-choice, True or False or prompts, seamlessly, at any point in a video. As students watch the video, each question will appear at its chosen point. After the question is answered, the video will continue.
  • Asking questions throughout a video presentation or recorded lecture to help students make connections to prior knowledge and experiences can help them retain information.
  • The Kaltura Quiz settings are flexible and will allow you to choose whether to repeat sections, skip questions, revise answers, or receive hints.
  • Kaltura Video Quiz can be integrated into the Moodle Grade book or it can be used an ungraded activity.
