Synching Video Quiz to Gradebook

Once you have created and saved your Kaltura Video Quiz, you can link the External Tool in Moodle to the Gradebook.

Step 1

Select External tool from the add an activity or resource window.

Step 2

Give the activity a name, and then click Show More.

Step 3

Once you select Show More you will be able to enter in a description and choose how the activity is launched.

Note. All of the other options and settings from Show More can be left on default.

Step 4

Choose Kaltura Video Quiz, from the Preconfigured tool.

Step 5

Select the Select Content button.

Step 6

Locate the Kaltura Quiz video in the pop-up window.

• Select Shared Repository if the quiz was saved to it by another instructor.
• All of your video quizzes in your My Media will be listed in this pop-up window.

Once you locate the video in the Shared Repository or in your My Media listing, select the Embed button ().

Step 8

The title of the Kaltura Quiz will populate in the Activity name. Delete it and add a descriptive and meaningful name.

Step 9

The Privacy settings can be left to the default.

Step 10

Select how you would like to grade the Kaltura Quiz and set the Maximum Grade. Moodle will make all of the adjustments to the grades of the quiz.

Viewing Grades from a Kaltura Video Quiz

The Kaltura Quiz is listed in the Grader Report.

• You are able to setup user overrides and view the quiz grades in Single View.
