Viewing Video Analytics and Kaltura Quiz Grades from My Media

Kaltura Video collects metrics for each participant or student that completes a quiz. The data collected can be viewed in each video's analytics page.

Step 1

Locate the Kaltura Quiz listed in your Kaltura My Media library.

Step 2

After opening the quiz, scroll down and select Analytics from the drop down menu.

The first section of the analytics highlights specific metrics that are defined in the following image:

Here you can select two measurements you would like to compare, and then trend lines are presented on the graph for that particular comparison.

In this graphic, Player Impressions, Plays, and how many people played a percentage of the video.

  • Player Impressions: number of times that the video (as a thumbnail) was loaded onto a page (video is not played).
  • Plays: the number of time a student hits the play button on the video.
  • Plays that reached…play-through: How many viewers have seen xx percentage of the video.
