Adding Kaltura Video to a Moodle Textbox
Anywhere in Moodle, where you access the Textbox, you can insert a Kaltura Video. This can be helpful if referencing a video on a Moodle Page, Book, or an assignment or topic description.
Step 1
Select the Kaltura Icon on the Moodle Textbox Toolbar.
Step 2
From the pop-up window, you can access the Shared Repository and Embed a video into the activity, or you can embed a video from your MyMedia
Note. Any instructor can upload a video to the Shared Repository. Once you click on Shared Repository you will be directed to a list of videos in the repository. The layout of the pop-up window is identical in the Shared Repository or your own MyMedia.
Step 3
Once you select “Embed,” the pop-up window will close, and you will see an HTML string that links to the Kaltura video.
Note. You can copy and paste this HTML code anywhere in the text area to change the location of the video.
Step 4
Click Save and Return to Course or Save and Display.
