Kaltura Help Guide

This is a comprehensive Guide to the Kaltura Video Platform. It includes instructions for: (1) creating and uploading videos, (2) creating interactivity in Kaltura Videos, and (3) adding Kaltura videos to Moodle.

Editing Video Captions in Kaltura

If you create and own a Video in MyMedia, you can enable it to be downloaded. Any faculty or Staff member with a Moodle account can download the video if it is in the Shared Repository.

Note. You cannot download Kaltura Quizzes. 

Step 1

Once in Kaltura My Media, you can select the pencil icon to the right of the video.

 

Step 2

Scroll to the video menu and click Download.

 

Step 3

Click on the Source Checkbox to enable the download, and then click Save

 

Step 4

Once you save the video, a user can open it and click download from the video menu. Note. Depending on the size of your browser window, the link might be in a dropdown or horizontal menu.
