How can questions be stored in the Moodle Question Bank?

It is essential to understand the different levels at which questions can be stored and accessed: Course Level, Category Level, and System Level.

Course Level Question Bank 

Definition: 

The Course Level question bank is specific to an individual course. Questions created here are only accessible within that course unless manually shared or exported. 

Best Use Cases: 

  • Creating and managing questions for quizzes within a single course. 
  • Ensuring questions are tailored to the specific content of that course. 
  • Organizing questions into subcategories for easier reuse within the course. 

How to Access: 

  • Navigate to the desired course in Moodle. 
  • In the Course Administration menu, select Question Bank. 
  • Add, organize, and manage questions within the course.
