Moodle Guide

The development of this guide is ongoing; we will continue adding Moodle LMS Tips, Guides, and Instructions. On the left-hand sidebar, you will find a list of Moodle LMS features or options. To learn more about that option or feature, click on the link.

Assignments

Assignments allow students to submit work to their teacher for grading. The work may be text typed online or uploaded files of any type the teacher’s device can read. Grading may be by simple percentages or custom scales, or more complex rubrics may be used. Students may submit as individuals or in groups.

Step 1:

Select Assignments from the activities and resources pop-up window.

Click Assigments from the Activities and Resources Pop-up window

Step 2:

Name the assignment and give it a general description.

An assignment name is required.

Step 3:

Add any instructions for the activity. The instructions will be visible to students when they edit and submit their assignments.

Add activity instructions here and they will be visible to students with they edit and submit assignments.

Step 4:

there are 12 sets of preferences that you have the ability to change as an instructor for every assignment.

Step 5:

once you have finished adjusting the preferences of the assignment, click Save.

Click either Save and Return ro Course or Save and Display
